FUNDRAISING / SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
This is held the first Saturday of February. The money raised from this event goes to rescue and medical equipment. In the past this has purchased the Jaws, and related equipment. Everyone’s help, including wives, girlfriends, and retired firemen is needed. You can expect, at a minimum to work the Friday night before, and all day Saturday working on this.
Fireman’s Ball – Ticket Drive
This is our largest activity of the year. We spend two weeks going door to door asking for donations, and then cap it off with the Fireman’s Ball. This is normally the weekend closest to St. Patrick’s Day. The money raised from this goes to keeping us, the volunteers going.
This is typically held in June, and is a fun family activity.
This is normally held on a Saturday at the beginning of November. We put on a nice dinner and entertainment to thank our wives and girlfriends for all that they put up with through the year.
This is always the first Saturday of December. This event is a Turkey dinner for our invited guests. Friday night is spent preparing the dinner, and most of Saturday setting up.
There are many different fun activities that we participate in through the year. A few of these are musters, and parades.
